Whether you enjoy hiking or swimming, there are many activities for everyone in our valley.
Mountain bikers and racing cyclists will find fantastic tours here.

A very special tip is a hike to our “Alpine hut”. A more than 300 year old farmhouse located at 1300 m above sea level between Gailtal and Gitschtal.

We are particularly committed to preserving this building, which is rich in family history.

Up there you will enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Carnic Alps and the Gailtal valley.

Hiking

Our farm is surrounded by many alpine huts and beautiful hiking routes. You will also quickly reach the Weißensee and the Nassfeld.

Bike and mountain bike

Whether you prefer a leisurely cycle route or are looking for a sporting challenge, one of the numerous cycle paths will definitely take you to a fabulous destination.

The Gailtal cycle path in the direction of Kötschach-Mauthen is particularly popular with families. But the more adventurous also get their money’s worth. For example, on a racing bike tour up to the Weißensee lake, to name just two examples.
You will find countless possibilities here!

Swimming

You can enjoy swimming at the most untouched lake in Carinthia – the Pressegger See (approx. 7 km). Also at the almost 12 km long Weißensee (approx. 21 km). The Radnig natural swimming area ( approx. 2 km) is ideal for families with small kids.

Would you like to have a bit more fun and action? Then visit the adventure pool at Lake Pressegg with numerous attractions for young and old.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, it’ not a problem either. The Aquarena in Kötschach-Mauthen with its indoor pool and spacious wellness area offers relaxation and fun even in bad weather.

Climbing

Mountain and climbing enthusiasts will find numerous attractive routes in a wide range of difficulty levels.

A special recommendation for our young guests is the rock labyrinth at Nassfeld. Here, enthusiastic adventurers will find the perfect mix of flying fox and climbing fun.
